Privacy · Information Stewardship

Clarity before
collection.

This policy explains what information Alcoden may receive, why it may be used, where other service providers may be involved, and the choices available to you.

01 Collect with purpose
02 Use with restraint
03 Preserve human control

Privacy is not merely a notice at the edge of a system. It is a design obligation: know what enters, limit where it travels, and retain human authority over what happens next.

01

Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Alcoden (“Alcoden,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information in connection with the public pages at alcoden-os.com, related Alcoden-hosted public pages, and direct correspondence initiated through those pages.

A product, assessment, portal, checkout, client workspace, or other authenticated service may present a separate privacy notice when its data practices differ. That service-specific notice will govern the differing practice. This policy does not create or imply that any currently unpublished or inactive service is available.

02

Information we receive

Information you choose to provide

We may receive information that you send directly to us, including:

  • Your name, business email address, telephone number, organization, role, and preferred reply method.
  • The nature of your inquiry and the content of your message, attachments, or subsequent correspondence.
  • Information provided during a business relationship, including project context, service interests, records needed to respond, and administrative or transaction information when applicable.
  • Privacy, accessibility, legal, or support requests and the information reasonably needed to verify and address them.

Information received automatically

When you visit the website, hosting, platform, security, or network providers may automatically process technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, requested pages, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP address, and security or diagnostic events.

We do not ask visitors to provide sensitive personal information through a general inquiry. Please do not send government identifiers, payment-card details, medical information, passwords, or confidential third-party data unless Alcoden has specifically established an appropriate and authorized method for that information.

03

Direct correspondence

Current public-form operation

The public Contact Alcoden form and public waitlist forms transmit the information entered by the visitor to Alcoden’s protected intake endpoint when the visitor selects the submission button. A submission is treated as delivered only after the website receives and displays a confirmation from that endpoint. If delivery is not confirmed, the website displays an error and provides aigov@alcoden-os.com as a direct-contact alternative.

Submitted form information and associated delivery metadata may be processed by Alcoden’s hosting, application, security, storage, and email service providers. Alcoden may retain a limited intake or delivery record and route a notification to the appropriate Alcoden inbox so the request can be reviewed and answered. We may use the information to respond, understand the inquiry or stated product interest, provide requested or consented-to availability updates, maintain appropriate records, prevent abuse, and establish or manage a requested business relationship. Submitting a public form does not create a purchase, account, entitlement, portal access, assessment access, reservation, or client engagement.

04

Cookies and technical data

The public website is operated by Alcoden Markets LLC using server, application, network, and security providers. Those providers may process necessary technical data—including IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, requested URLs, security events, and request identifiers—to deliver pages, protect forms, prevent abuse, balance traffic, and diagnose failures.

The public website does not activate advertising cookies or cross-site retargeting. Optional analytics or other nonessential technologies will not be represented as active unless they are actually installed, and any legally required choice mechanism will be provided before activation. See the Cookie Policy for current details.

05

How information is used

We may use personal information to:

  • Provide, secure, operate, troubleshoot, and improve the website and requested services.
  • Respond to inquiries and determine an appropriate service, product, partnership, or support path.
  • Communicate about an existing or potential business relationship.
  • Maintain business, compliance, security, and correspondence records.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, attacks, or other harmful activity.
  • Comply with law, enforce applicable terms, protect rights and safety, and resolve disputes.
  • Analyze aggregated or de-identified information to understand website and operational performance.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may be based on your consent, steps taken at your request, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, or legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights.

06

When information is disclosed

We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. Hosting, website-platform, email, security, storage, professional-advisory, and other vendors that process information to perform services for Alcoden.
  • At your direction. A person or organization you authorize, or a service you choose to use.
  • Legal and safety reasons. When reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, investigate misuse, protect rights or safety, or establish and defend legal claims.
  • Business transactions. In connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, transfer, or due-diligence process, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
  • Aggregated or de-identified information. Information that does not reasonably identify an individual.

Service providers may process information under their own terms when they act independently. Their privacy notices govern those independent activities.

07

Sale, sharing, and advertising

Alcoden does not currently sell personal information for money. Alcoden also does not knowingly use personal information collected through the public-release pages for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Some privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly enough to include certain advertising or analytics arrangements. If Alcoden activates a practice that qualifies under applicable law, we will update this notice and provide any required opt-out mechanism before or when that practice becomes active.

08

Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was received, including to respond to an inquiry, manage a relationship, maintain appropriate business and security records, comply with legal or contractual duties, and establish or defend claims.

Retention periods vary with the information, purpose, relationship, legal requirements, and technical backup cycle. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete it, de-identify it, or securely isolate it until deletion is practicable.

09

Security

Alcoden uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information in light of its nature and the relevant risks. No internet transmission, email system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use care when deciding what to transmit by email.

If you believe information associated with Alcoden has been accessed or handled improperly, contact us promptly at the address below.

We do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13 through the public website. Privacy laws and protections may differ from those in your location. Where required, Alcoden will use an applicable legal basis and transfer safeguard.

14

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website, services, providers, or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
